SITE NOTES
A home for the work.
Bringing the projects together, giving them some context, and finishing the details before the site goes live.

More than a collection of links
Attendr and the CDR Search Tool solve different problems, but they come from the same interest: making everyday work easier through practical software. This site is a place to bring that work together and explain a little of the thinking behind it.
The homepage takes the shape of a network map. Projects, Context and Log are different connections into the same body of work. The design is a nod to the systems I work with, while the pages behind it need to be clear enough for someone arriving for the first time.
Taking stock before adding more
The first step was an inventory. There were older website copies, application folders, archives and development versions spread across the local workspace. Some were redundant; others contained different code or data and needed to be kept.
The personal website also had work that existed only locally. That source is now backed up in a private GitHub repository. Having a clear version history makes it easier to move forward without losing track of what is current.
Finish the experience
A review found a working production build and documentation, alongside unfinished navigation, a missing application download and placeholder content. A page looking finished is not the same as a complete visitor journey.
The Attendr project page and Context page are now part of that journey. Log adds a place for project notes and lessons from the work. The site is still being completed locally; deployment comes after the planned sections and their important interactions are ready.
